when creating my magazine front cover, i had to consider where everything would go on the page, and whether it will clash with the main image etc. to start with, i created a background for where my masthead will go.
i created the text using the blending options accessable on the adobe software. i gave my masthead a outline to possibly make it stand out more, and even attract the reader.
before i added anything else, i put the edited main image on the page, i had to crop the photo to make it fit the page, however the picture did not fill the space i had first thought it would, i later used this empty space to create a type of competition for those who are interested in reading the magazine.
this is the competition filling for the bottom of the page.
this is the final edition of the magazine front cover. i had additional straplines to allow the reader to know what is inside this magazine, and also present it to attact the audience which currently doesnt know of the magazine, and hopefully will want to read the articles.
